Welcome to the Dental Assistant Collective (DAC) by Vios. By accessing or using our course materials, community platform, or any related services (the “Services”), you agree to the following Terms of Use (“Terms”). Please read them carefully before participating.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By enrolling in or accessing DAC, you agree to be bound by these Terms as well as our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not access or use the Services.
2. Educational Purpose Only
All DAC content, including videos, downloads, live calls, and community discussions, is provided for educational purposes only. Nothing in the program should be interpreted as medical, dental, or legal advice. Implementation of any techniques should always be under the guidance of your licensed dentist/employer and in compliance with local laws and regulations.
3. Community Guidelines
DAC is a professional learning community. To maintain a safe, respectful space:
Treat all members with courtesy and professionalism.
No harassment, hate speech, or inappropriate content.
No sharing of confidential patient information.
Marketing, spamming, or solicitation in the community is not permitted without prior approval.
Violation of these rules may result in removal from the community without refund.
4. Intellectual Property
All course materials, videos, downloads, and resources are the property of DAC/Vios. You are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable license to access and use them.
You may not share, resell, or distribute content outside of your own enrolled use.
One enrollment = one assistant. Each assistant must have their own license to participate fully in the program.
5. Payment & Refunds
Enrollment requires payment in full or via an agreed payment plan. Refunds are only available if explicitly stated in the course purchase policy. Failure to complete payments may result in suspended access.
6. Limitation of Liability
By using DAC, you acknowledge:
We make no guarantees of specific outcomes, certifications, or employment opportunities.
DAC/Vios is not liable for any injury, loss, or damages (direct or indirect) resulting from the use or misuse of the content.
You are solely responsible for applying knowledge in accordance with your training, licensure, and employer’s protocols.
7. Modifications to Services
We reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue any part of DAC at any time. Updated Terms will be posted, and continued participation constitutes acceptance.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, without regard to conflict of law principles.
